Because Creativity Strikes At the Strangest of Moments

Such as when one is standing two blocks away from his home, fetching water because the piping system in their area is shot to hell.

Modified lyrics courtesy of Ian Castillo (yes, Eric, *that* Ian Castillo)

sung to the tune of "Hindi Bawal Mangarap," as used in the Manny Villar campaign ad:

Di masamang mangarap
ang Pekeng Mahirap,
Basta't may pondo ka galing sa pinahabang daan!

Di masamang mangarap
ang Pekeng Mahirap,
Basta't ang mukha mo ay makapal,
At mayroong masusuhulan!

  1. Nice choice of words. Hope you're still singing it when VILLAR WINS. It's a free country. say what you want. When the smoke clears, it's Villar standing. No Aristocrat, no hippie and no old man with pamada will emerge victorious.

  2. Congratulations, you are the first person to comment on my blog! High fives all around!

    Spelling Nazi moment: that's "pomada."

Now, maybe I'm the only one who can see the irony in a blogger using the handle "prinsipyo" while hiding behind a private profile, but that's just gravy. Nothing is certain in this year's elections, which is why volunteers such as myself work hard to make sure that people do NOT forget the real issues.

If you've resigned yourself to Villar winning, that's all well and good. Obviously I disagree, and obviously I will continue to analyze the upcoming elections, more so as the date arrives.

  4. Hey Raul. I *could* ignore him, but since he's a guest in my blog, albeit uninvited, that would be rude, wouldn't it? ;-)
